About Mirage

Mirage from MorganaVR is an interactive sex simulator that aims for photorealism. Version 0.3 is a complete rewrite on Unity's HDRP pipeline with post-processing effects and Genesis 3 characters, and every image you see is rendered live: you can view the girls from any angle, take their hands or legs, change their appearance and modify animations on the fly.

Underneath sits real-world physics, a natural posing system, deep character customization and built-in tools for creating and sharing content. It plays on a flat PC screen or in VR through SteamVR, covering Rift, Vive, Index and Windows Mixed Reality headsets. A user guide and release notes are hosted online, and the community gathers on Discord.

Mirage is MorganaVR's attempt at a photorealistic sex sandbox, and version 0.3 rebuilt it from the ground up with modern Unity rendering. Everything is rendered in real time, so you can walk around a scene, take hold of a hand or leg, alter appearance and tweak animations while they play.

The posing system and customization depth make it feel like a lighter, more modern-looking cousin of Virt-A-Mate. Built-in creation and sharing tools encourage community content, and a separate BVH Player build comes with Premium. It runs on a monitor or through SteamVR on Rift, Vive, Index and Windows Mixed Reality headsets. Players respond well, with nearly one like for every five plays.

Its weakness is scale. With about 180,000 plays it has a fraction of VaM's audience, which means fewer shared scenes and fewer guides, although an online user guide and a Discord help. The version number signals early development, and the latest builds are Premium only. If you have the PC for it and want realism with less clutter than VaM, Mirage is worth trying; if you want sheer content, VaM and vamX remain unbeatable.
