Late Night Affair At The Office

Our Late Night Affair At The Office review

RockHardVR's comic titles work differently from its hand-tracked games. Instead of setting the pace yourself, you watch a short animated story unfold around you, complete with speech bubbles. Here it is two overworked colleagues stuck at the office late, deciding to relieve the stress together while hoping nobody walks in.

The replay options are where it earns its keep. After the first viewing, the studio suggests switching to first-person perspectives and trying different outfit combinations, and a loop button keeps the action going as long as you like. You can hide objects that block your line of sight and turn off the dialogue. Body sliders, colors and breast physics are adjustable, and passthrough lets you watch in your own room.

It has performed well for a comic, with a like for about every six plays, slightly ahead of companion piece Faye's Elevated Overtime. But interactivity is limited: you are mostly choosing views and toggles rather than playing. If you want control, Aida's Secret Therapy or Bree's First Class Service are the better picks. If you want a short, story-led scene you can revisit from different angles, this is one of the better comics.
