About Idol Playroom

The secret facility from Dream Playroom has had an upgrade. The same purple-haired secretary greets you, hands over the remote and ushers you into the simulation room, but this time there is a party mode, and she hopes you brought your dancing shoes.

Idol Playroom is about watching rather than touching. You can put up to three dancers on the floor at once, star the songs you like and sort the list by favorites, and switch to AR mode to have them perform in your own living room. Hair, skin, eyes and outfits are recolorable, body sliders and breast physics are adjustable, and the costume menu strips or changes clothes. A standalone Meta headset is recommended.

Idol Playroom is a show, not a scene. You pick songs, fill the floor with up to three dancers and sit back, tweaking looks and outfits while the music plays. Switching to AR drops the performance into your own living room, which is where it is most fun, since the dancers share real space with your furniture.

Customization is generous for a browser release: colors, body shape, breast physics and full outfit control are all there, and a favorites list makes it easy to return to tracks you like. It builds on the framework of Dream Playroom, one of the most played titles in the catalog, so it benefits from a polished foundation and a familiar receptionist.

There is no touching, and anyone expecting the hands-on play of Dream Playroom or Aida's Secret Therapy may feel underwhelmed. Pico 4 owners also lose hand tracking. Among RockHardVR's dance titles, though, it is the most fully featured, and the multi-dancer setup gives it more life than single-performer shows like Grooving with Aida or Getting Down With Maya.
